JDEC Welcomes Tim Queener

he JDEC would like to welcome Tim Queener. Tim Queener comes to JDEC with nearly 30 years of experience working with youth and young adults. He believes that many youth today need guidance and direction in relation to career goals that are not available to them in the current school system. Those not bound for college after graduation seem to be lost at sea, floating wherever the tide takes them. Without a strong foundation, patient guidance and a willingness to build relationships they will eventually succumb to the winds and waves. Tim’s journey began in a small community center in the Vine Hill Community in Nashville, Tennessee where he implemented after school programs for school age youth. Activities revolved around delinquency prevention and intervention through tutoring, youth empowerment and community activities.

In the years since, his expertise in Career/Life Skills Coaching, development and implementation of Workforce Development curriculum, community networking and career cultivation has vastly flourished. Tim will be teaching the Home Builder Institute’s PACT curriculum to the students of the JDEC.

Tim and his wife Denise have been married for over 34 years and have two amazing children. When he’s not at work, Tim enjoys spending time watching movies with the family, watching pro and college football, fishing and growing his YouTube channel.
